Opening of our first gastro pub

The Royal opens its doors after major refurbishment.

Business Caterer, Artizian Ltd is pleased to announce the opening of its first gastro pub, ‘The Royal’ in Mottingham. This is a new branch of the company trading under the name Beluga London.

The new management started working with Enterprise Inns Plc on the refurbishment six months ago. The opportunity for the pub is great due to its location being very prominent on the A20 and because of the lack of similar restaurants in the area.

The pub aptly opened on the 21st April, the Queen’s actual birthday. The Royal now has a very open feel and is warm and welcoming with a rustic design. Along the main bar there is a lounge area with comfy soft seating to relax in and enjoy a fine bean coffee during the day or a glass of wine on an evening. The rest of the pub is tabled seating to accommodate those dining.

Rather than purely a drinking pub, as it was previously known, The Royal will now have a strong focus on good quality food. Using their knowledge and experience the management, along with the chefs have created a new menu of simple, fresh and good traditional food, where possible sourcing everything from local suppliers.

Accompanying the food ethos is the strong belief that service is important and all staff have undergone extensive training from front of house to cocktail making. Under new management and now open The Royal, Mottingham, is set for great things.
